An infrared camera is used to take thermal images of mold that is hiding behind surfaces. Because mold is a living organism, it creates heat and is therefore visible to the thermal camera. This amazing technique allows K2 staff to identify the existence of mold before beginning demolition. Below are some of the colorful images produced by this camera.
